Experience Level:
- Web Development Manager: 6+ years, including at least 2 years as a Web Development Manager or in a related role.
- Web Development Project Manager: 5+ years of experience in web development, including at least 2 years as a project manager.
We are a UAE-based company in Dubai, seeking a Web Development Manager and a Web Development Project Manager to join our team.
In this role, we have two vacancies available: Web Development Manager and Web Development Project Manager. The Web Development Manager will oversee the entire web development process, from planning and strategy to execution and deployment. The Web Development Project Manager will manage the development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively utilized.
Job Description:
- Plan, create, and manage project scope of work, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for web development projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams (development, UI/UX, and marketing) and external vendors to ensure timely project completion.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of WordPress and WooCommerce-based websites, focusing on custom themes and plugins.
- Collaborate on designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and devise mitigation strategies.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance project outcomes.
- Facilitate clear communication across departments to ensure efficient workflows.
- Use analytics to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Present project updates and outcomes to stakeholders regularly.
- Stay informed about emerging web technologies and development tools.
- Oversee the creation and management of a large portfolio of websites across multiple countries, languages, business industries, and e-commerce platforms, catering to the company, dealers, and distributors.
Work Environment:
- Collaborate in both remote and onsite settings, ensuring seamless coordination with all stakeholders.
- Use leading remote platforms and communication tools to maintain efficiency.
Location Preference: Candidates from Nasr City or nearby areas who can easily commute are preferred
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in web development, including at least 2 years as a project manager.
- Proven experience managing WordPress and WooCommerce projects, including custom themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks, coding languages, and database systems.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools.
- Excellent project management skills, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Asana).
- Analytical mindset to measure project outcomes and recommend improvements.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to adapt to evolving web technologies and development methodologies.
- Live portfolio showcasing previous web development projects (is a must).
