Company Overview:

Petra Mechatronics, a leading company in the B2B eCommerce industry specializing in industrial automation and measuring instruments, is expanding its digital and website services division in Amman – Jordan. We are currently seeking two highly skilled Full Stack Web Developers to join our team.

 

Job Description:

As a Full Stack Web Developer at Petra Mechatronics, you will handle both front-end and back-end web development tasks, ensuring the stability of our website, maintaining page speed, and implementing technical SEO requirements. Your proficiency in WordPress WooCommerce plugins development and WordPress Theme Development will be central to your role. Your aptitude for using AI Tools like ChatGPT for development will be a strong advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop WordPress themes and plugins to enhance our website’s functionality.
• Manage all aspects of front-end and back-end web development.
• Optimize our website for speed and ensure its stability and security.
• Implement and monitor technical SEO to improve site visibility.
• Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to create a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in web development.

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of WordPress and experience in WooCommerce core plugins and theme development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery) and back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, MySQL).
• Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Understanding SEO principles and ensuring that the application adheres to them.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a resident of Jordan.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
