Job Overview
Petra supplies and services weighing equipment, measuring instruments and automation solutions across the UAE. We’re looking for a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to handle technical service, daily operations and customer coordination. You should have strong troubleshooting skills, be well organised, and be confident working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Calibration: Install, calibrate, repair and maintain weighing scales, measuring instruments and related equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical faults, including load cells, indicators and wiring.
• Equipment Preparation: Inspect, test and configure equipment before delivery and installation.
• Operations & Fulfilment: Manage work orders, service reports, spare parts and order fulfilment.
• Customer Coordination: Schedule visits, deliveries and maintenance, and follow up until every job is completed.
• Sales Support: Help the sales team with product selection, specifications and technical enquiries.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical service, industrial maintenance, instrumentation or automation. Fresh graduates can also apply.
• Technical Skills: Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Computer Skills: Good MS Excel, Word and general computer skills.
• Communication: Confident English and customer handling.
• Independence: Organised and able to work across field, workshop and office duties with minimal supervision.
