We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior general Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role offers the distinct opportunity to work from Egypt, while playing a pivotal role in our UAE-based company’s financial operations.

The applicant should have familiarity with various accounting software and the ability to grasp our product specifications for effective physical inventory management.

Additional experience in cost accounting or a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be a significant advantage.

The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing general accounts using Zoho Books and Excel, and adaptable to transitioning to MS Dynamics Business Central or Odoo.


Position Open for Experienced Professionals Residing in Egypt near Nasr City or New Cairo


Job Scope: Comprehensive Accounting and Financial Management

Responsibilities include:

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping: Utilizing Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, and Excel to manage financial records with precision and professionalism. (payables, recivalbes, tax)

2. Cost Calculations and Pricing: Analyzing and determining costs and pricing strategies.
3. Stock Control: Overseeing inventory management for optimal efficiency.
4. Payroll Management: Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
5. Document Control: Maintaining and organizing financial documents.
6. Reporting and Internal Auditing: Generating highly accurate financial reports, both system-generated and through Excel, and conducting basic financial audits.

7. Development: Improve our accounting system and keep files organized. Work with outside experts and auditors when needed.


Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  1. Industry Experience: Minimum 2-4 years in the trading and manufacturing industry.
  2. Accounting and Bookkeeping: At least 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  3. Specialized Skills:
    • 1 year in cost calculations or pricing.
    • 1 year in inventory/stock control.
    • Various experience with different accounting software
    • Senior-level general accounting, able to start handling accounts independently from day 1.
  4. Computer Proficiency:
    • Advanced skills in Excel.
    • Proficient in MS Word.
    • Minimum typing speed of 25 WPM.
  5. Educational Background: Certification in accounting with proven experience.
  6. Personal Attributes:

    • Confident, disciplined, and organized.
    • Physically fit and self-motivated.
    • Goal-oriented, able to meet deadlines independently.
  7. Communication Skills:
    • Fluent in English with a clear accent.

Qualification as an advantage+

  • More than 2 years of Zoho Books, MS Dynamics Business Central or Odoo experience
