We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior general Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role offers the distinct opportunity to work from Jordan, while playing a pivotal role in our UAE-based company’s financial operations.

The applicant should have familiarity with various accounting software and the ability to grasp our product specifications for effective physical inventory management.

Additional experience in cost accounting or a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be a significant advantage.

The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing general accounts using Zoho Books and Excel, and adaptable to transitioning to MS Dynamics Business Central or Odoo.


Position Open for Experienced Professionals Residing in Jordan – Amman


Job Scope: Comprehensive Accounting and Financial Management

Responsibilities include:

  1. Accounting and Bookkeeping: Utilizing Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, and Excel to manage financial records with precision and professionalism. (payables, recivalbes, tax)
  2. Stock: Overseeing inventory movement and stock accounting.
  3. Payroll: Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  4. Document Control: Maintaining and organizing financial documents and files.
  5. Reporting and Internal Auditing: Generating highly accurate financial reports, both system-generated and through Excel, and conducting basic financial audits.
  6. Cost Calculations and Pricing: Support the efforts of analyzing and determining costs and pricing factors.


7. Development: Improve our accounting system and keep files organized. Work with outside experts and auditors when needed.


Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  1. Accounting and Bookkeeping: At least 4 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping in trading and manufacturing.
  2. Specialized Skills:
    • Inventory/stock control and accounting.
    • Various experience with different accounting software
    • Senior-level general accounting, able to start handling accounts from day 1.
  3. Computer Proficiency:
    • Advanced skills in Excel.
    • Proficient in MS Word.
    • Minimum typing speed of 25 WPM.
  4. Educational Background: Certification in accounting with proven experience.
  5. Personal Attributes:
    • Integrity
    • Fast learner and proactive.
    • Confident, disciplined, and organized.
    • Physically fit and self-motivated.
    • Goal-oriented, able to meet deadlines independently.
  6. Communication Skills:
    • Fluent in English with a clear accent.
    • Strong online research capabilities.
    • Effective and efficient in professional business communication.
  7. Certifications: Required experience certificates for all claims.


Qualification as an advantage+

  • Zoho Books, MS Dynamics Business Central, or Odoo hands-on experience.
  • ERP software hands-on experience 
  • Cost and management account experience.
